Multifamily HVAC at production scale.
Rhino Air is the mechanical subcontractor for apartment and mixed-use builders across LA — phased installs that track your floors, unit-after-unit consistency — built to the stamped plans, inspected per phase, closed out on schedule. The sub your schedule doesn't wait on.
Built for the schedule, unit after unit
- Rough-in crews on the floor the day framing clears
- No trade-stacking conflicts in shafts, ceilings, or corridors
- One inspection pass per phase
- A punch list that shrinks, not grows
- Crews allocated by phase, not by promise
- Per-unit QC checklist signed before walls close
- Routing coordinated with plumbing, electrical, and fire sprinkler before rough-in — resolved on the drawings, not fought over in the field
- Batch HERS coordination through certified third-party raters
- One rep who knows your job, not a dispatcher

Install by phase
Floor by floor behind your framers; sealed, tested, signed off unit by unit. Rough inspections passed per phase.
Batch HERS + startup
Testing scheduled in blocks, not one-offs. Commissioned and documented — your CO isn't waiting on us.

The more you build with us, the better your pricing
Tier rates apply cumulatively across your projects — not per system. Your rate follows you to the next building automatically. No renegotiating, no asking.

How many units can you run in parallel?
Capacity scales with your schedule — we staff by phase and add crews to match your framing pace, not the other way around. Tell us the floor count and the calendar; we build the crew plan around it.
What happens if a unit fails inspection?
Every unit runs a QC checklist against code before we call for inspection, and HERS samples are pre-tested in-house — problems get caught on our checklist, not on your critical path.
How does tier pricing work across projects?
Cumulatively. Every project you run with Rhino moves you up the tier ladder, and your improved rate applies automatically to the next bid — across buildings, not per system.
What systems do you install in multifamily buildings?
Per-unit ducted systems, wall-mounted mini-splits, multi-zone systems, and VRF — matched to the stamped plans and the building's electrical design. High-SEER inverter equipment throughout.
Do you handle mixed-use buildings?
Yes — residential floors over retail or office space, with the commercial scope handled by the same crew under one contract.
